What this notice covers

This notice covers the ForgePoint website and the inquiry form on it. It does not cover information exchanged under a contract or during a project — a contract sets its own terms for that.

What we collect

Only what you send us. If you submit the project inquiry form on the contact page we receive the fields you filled in: your name, your organization, your email address, your phone number and your role; the project’s name, location, type, industry or program and stage; what you tell us you are planning; the capacity, building quantity or area, target date, period of use and budget you give; the buildings and furnishings you need and your preferred finish level; whether you have a site and a contractor; how you heard about us; and any documents you upload. Your name, organization, email address, project location, project type, project stage and the description of what you are planning are required; everything else is optional. If you email or call us we hold what you tell us and your contact details.

Alongside a submission we record the time it was sent and the page it was sent from. To tell a person from automated spam, Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type; we pass your IP address to it for that check and do not keep it with your inquiry. No account is created and nothing is collected from you if you do not submit the form.

Why we hold it

To answer your inquiry, to prepare a proposal or scope or price the work you have asked about, to keep a record of the request, and to understand which channels produce inquiries. Where data-protection law requires us to name a basis, it is our legitimate interest in responding to a business inquiry. The form also offers occasional ForgePoint project updates. That box is unchecked unless you tick it, it is separate from your inquiry, and we send updates only if you tick it. Ask us to stop contacting you, updates included, and we will.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies of its own. It uses no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics cookies, and it runs no analytics script, no advertising script and no third-party tracking. On the contact page, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a bot check on the inquiry form. If a scheduler for booking a call is offered there, it loads only when you choose to open it, and the scheduling provider’s own privacy and cookie policy then applies. The network that serves the site may set a strictly necessary cookie for security purposes. If measurement or advertising is added to this site in future, this notice will be updated at the same time and the date at the top of it will move.

Who else sees it

The site is hosted on Cloudflare’s network, and Cloudflare also runs the Turnstile bot check on the contact form. An inquiry passes through Cloudflare on its way to ForgePoint’s own systems, where the ForgePoint team reviews and tracks it, and any email correspondence that follows goes through our email provider. Those are service providers acting for us. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

While we are in contact with you about the inquiry, and afterwards as a business record of it — inquiries that go nowhere this year are often the same project two years later. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we need to keep it to perform a contract or because the law requires it.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ask us to stop contacting you and we will. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your data-protection regulator.

Where it is handled

This site is served from a global network, so a request may be handled in a country other than the one you are in, and information you send may be stored or processed outside your country.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

This notice changes when the website changes. The effective date at the top tells you when it last did.

How to contact us

Email us at [email protected] and mark your message as a privacy request. Requests about your information are handled by a person, not automatically.
